Possible BatMUD Achievements

This is nothing official. Just something that me, Xyloid, <nameless individual> and Mirabelle were mostly kidding about, until we started to write them down. If we get enough, we may present the list to wizards as a fun thing to implement.

I'm also thinking that there would be some sort of leaderboard showing top achievement makers, and that they could stick thru rebirth. I can't think of any reward system for achievements, except possibly an award quest and some training points for getting an absurdly high percentage of achievements done, and possibly a rank for the top achiever.

I also realise that this probably won't ever happen. I realise that the coding of this sort of system would be a non-trivial task, and the load imposed on the server for some of these checks could be unreasonable. But....maybe cheap quantum computers will be invented soon and the server load wouldn't be an issue any longer ;)

Name Achievement

We don't need no stinking tanks! Have your tank die, and then kill mob with 2nd row tanking instead.

Any one you can walk away from. Leave combat at 0 hps.

By the skin of their teeth. Leave combat with a party member at 0 hps.

Not even close! Pull your tank out of combat with less than 100 hps.

Draggin' Rescue an unconscious player.

Mass exodus. Party rescues more than 1 unconscious player.

Yoinks....and away! Summon party member from combat while they are unconscious.

Immunity Idol. Be the last one in your column to escape combat alive.

Whammy! Take more than your current maxhp damage in 1 round, or possibly 1 hit

Double Whammy! Take more than double your current maxhp damage in 1 round or hit

Triple Whammy! Take more than triple your current maxhp damage in 1 round or hit

Bring out yer dead! Escape death.

Down the wrong pipe. Die by drowning in outworld water or swimming pool.

Dead on your feet. Die from exhaustion.

I thought you looked familiar... Die to a familiar (Mount, Entity, Soul buddy, etc)

All for the mowgles. Die to a trapped box/chest from mob drop.

Who's ready for dessert? Kill a pudding.

Holding back the years Go from 'ancient' age to 'very young' in 1 reinc.
